Limited Time Terms & Conditions
- New retail clients must launch with Cova by November 15, 2025 for referrer to earn entry into the draw.
- Refer as many qualified retailers as you like. Each referral that meets the deadlines above and qualifications outlined in the full terms and conditions below will earn you additional payment and entry in the contest.
- For Cova client & partner employees (e.g. budtenders, store managers, etc): Cova will pay you a bonus referral compensation of $100 for each candidate you personally introduce to Cova by November 15, 2025, if they successfully launch with Cova by December 31, 2025. Compensation will be in the form of a gift card.
- The draw will be held by live video teleconference at 12 PM MT on Tuesday, November 18th, 2025.
PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Section 1: Referral Mechanics
You may refer an unlimited number of candidates, so long as each referral meets Cova’s eligibility requirements as a legal cannabis dispensary operation in one of the markets listed on the website.
You must make any referral explicit via an email introduction in which both a Cova representative and the referral candidate are copied. Additionally, you must complete the referral form found at covasoftware.com/refer.
Section 2: Eligibility of referred candidates (qualified retailers)
A referred candidate must:
- ✓ Be a legally licensed or operational CBD store, vape store, or hemp-based cannabis retailer in any state; or,
- ✓ Be an operating, legally licensed cannabis retailer/dispensary in a market served by Cova, or have applied for a cannabis retail license in a Cova-supported state or province;
- Cova-supported states include: NY, MN, MA, MO, MS, MT, ME, AK, IL, CA, CO, OR, MI
- Excluded states include NV, WA, and MD
- Cova-supported provinces include all Canadian provinces where regulations allow private (non-government) cannabis retail.
- ✓ Have no record of requesting a demo or speaking with a Cova representative in the past 3 months;
- ✓ Not have previously received a proposal and/or been a Cova customer;
- ✓ Not be a current Cova client adding an additional location.
If referred candidates meet the above requirements, they are eligible for this referral program. A referral will be credited to the referring party only if the referral has signed a contract with Cova and been successfully onboarded.
In the event a candidate is referred more than once by different referring parties, the first referrer will receive credit for the referral. Referrals where the candidate and referrer are one and the same individual or entity (person or company) are not valid.
Once a referral is received, a Cova representative will contact the candidate within five (5) working days via phone or email as provided by you, the referrer.
Section 3: Compensation Mechanics
Cova will pay you a referral compensation of $400 for each referred candidate who becomes a credited referral, each in the form of a credit applied to your monthly bill. Compensation will be paid for each confirmed credited referral. A referring party can be credited with an unlimited number of referrals provided they satisfy all the requirements in Section 2: Eligibility of referred candidates. In addition to the compensation paid to you, the new Cova customer you referred will receive $400 off their initial launch fee. Compensation will reflect the new customer’s local currency (if a new store is in Canada, compensation will be in CAD).
For employees of Cova clients and partners
Cova will pay you a bonus referral compensation of $100 for each referred candidate you personally introduce to Cova by November 15, 2025, if they successfully launch with Cova by December 31, 2025. Compensation will be in the form of a gift card.
Compensation is awarded for each new business/brand that completes a scheduled software demo or signs with Cova, not per location for multi-store operations.
Cova reserves the right to modify the rules of the program or terminate the program in its sole discretion.
